Kim Maeng-seok

As a representative of 2ndblend, he is conducting design strategy consulting in various fields based on industrial design. Since 2002, while working as a global smartphone product designer at LG Electronics, he led the design of major strategic products.
In 2014, he worked as a project leader for OPPO R9 at the Faa Design Farm of world-renowned designer Giovanni Alessi Anghini. Afterwards, in 2015, he led the successful product launch as the brand and design director for STI:L, the new brand of Newbit, the largest mobile brand in Korea, and at CES 2016 Received an unusual spotlight.
In 2016, Matchnine was successfully launched with Enbits, a mobile case manufacturer. It has won international design awards such as IF, Red-dot, and Good design Award, and is currently working on various projects with global companies such as Samsung, LG Electronics, LG Innotek, and Osstem Implant.

2ndblend의 대표로 산업디자인을 베이스로 하여 다양한 분야의 디자인 전략 컨설팅을 수행하고 있다. 2002년 부터 엘지전자에서 글로벌 스마트폰의 제품 디자이너로 근무하면서 주요 전략 제품의 디자인을 Lead 하였다.
2014년 세계적인 디자이너 Giovanni Alessi Anghini의 Faa Design Farm에서 OPPO R9의 프로젝트 리더로 활동 하였으며 이후 2015년 국내 최대 모바일 브랜드 뉴빛의 신규 브랜드 STI:L의 브랜드 및 디자인 총괄로 성공 적인 제품 런칭을 지휘 하였고 2016 CES에서 이례적인 스포트라이트를 받았다.
2016년 모바일 케이스 제조사인 엔비츠와 함께 Matchnine을 성공적으로 런칭 시켰다. IF, Red-dot, Good design Award등 국제적인 디자인 어워드에서 수상하였으며 삼성, 엘지전자, 엘지이노텍, 오스템임플란트 등 글로벌 기업들과 다양한 프로젝트를 진행중이다.
